The roundtable was a great success, focusing on the the report’s findings, and explored potential avenues for UK–Türkiye cooperation in Somalia. The report set out a convincing case of the benefits of investment; both to the people of Somalia and offering attractive returns for investors. The overwhelming feedback was that further industry sessions are required to build on these foundations, focusing on the specifics of industry requirements, political risk and practical investment opportunities.
